Our Story:
Founded in 2006, our funeral home has served Mottram, Hattersley, Hyde and the surrounding areas with a focus on respect, care, and attention to detail, for the last 19 years. Our experienced team understands that every family is unique, and we strive to create meaningful tributes that reflect the life and legacy of your loved one.

Wayne Brindley
Our Director – Wayne, has been working in the funeral industry for over 3 decades, starting back in 1986 with Leeches Funeral Services, which was also owned and operated by the Co-op Funeral Service.
As mentioned Wayne started working within funerals back in 1986, where he had a placement on a YTS with Leeches, based in Rochdale. After finishing on the YTS in 1988 he was given the opportunity to start arranging and conducting funerals. In 1991 he moved to the Co-op Funeral Services in Chorlton, where he gained industry standard diplomas. Then in 2000 he applied for management. This ended up in him managing a number of offices, before leaving and opening his own office in the Tameside village of Mottram, back in 2006. He is currently still also the sole director W.Brindley’s Funeral Service.
